It depends on the core grade, the width and whether you are taking a stock build or a made-to-specification one. Development quantities are quoted separately from production quantities, so a single roll for testing is possible. We give you the real figure in the quotation rather than a blanket number that turns out to have exceptions.

Two different things. If what you need is close to something we already supply, we send swatches taken from stock and that is usually days. If the laminate has to be built to your own thickness, backing and colour, it takes longer because splitting and bonding are scheduled rather than picked off a shelf. The expected lead time is given in your quotation — we do not quote a generic number and then miss it.

Usually, yes — and it is the easiest way to start. Post us a piece roughly A4 size and we will work out the core grade, the thickness, the backing and how it has been bonded, then quote against a matched build. If the original turns out to be a grade we do not supply, we will tell you rather than substitute something close and let you find out at your cutting table.

A laminate developed to your specification is not offered to other buyers, and a colour you pay to have matched stays off the open range. We will confirm this in writing before you commit if it matters to your programme — it usually matters most to buyers who have just spent money on development.

Yes. We can quote EXW or FOB, or deliver to a forwarder you nominate — including consolidating our goods with other suppliers so that everything leaves on one container.

Material safety data sheets and test reports are issued per order against the material batch actually used, and prepared for the regulation of your destination market — REACH and SVHC declarations for the EU, Proposition 65 for California, and others on request. Tell us the destination when you enquire and we will confirm which documents are available.

Thickness, yes — splitting is done at the partner plant, so the gauge follows your figure rather than the nearest stock size, and the tolerance is agreed in writing before the first roll is run. Colour matching is quoted per order: send a physical reference, not a screen colour, because a swatch photographed and emailed is not something anyone can match to.
